Recovery Village Center – Medical Detox is a 10 bed program that serves adults who need assistance with detoxification from one or more substances prior to entering a Residential program.  This is a voluntary program and the focus is management of symptoms during detoxification.

The program has licensed medical professional (LMP) oversight and the individual meets with a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner every day who assists with Medication Assisted Treatment [MAT].  Depending upon the substance, individual treatment plans are implemented, with treatment based upon symptomology and client response.

Individuals are referred through the New Directions Northwest intake process by calling 541-523-4049. For individuals needing 3.7 – WM Medically Managed Withdrawal level of care, they will need medical clearance which includes an EKG, CBC, and CMP prior to admission for the medical team to review. When an individual is deemed appropriate for medical detox level of care, they will be contacted and scheduled for admission to the Medical Detox Program. Individuals will be given a day and time to arrive at RVC. Medical Detox patients should arrive prior to 3 PM on weekdays in order to get labs drawn prior to starting withdrawal management medications. ASAM will be completed upon entrance into Recovery Village to assess appropriate care and treatment planning. Length of stay is typically 5 days, depending on symptoms management needs.

Individuals needing 3.2 WM Clinically Managed Withdrawal, will also contact intake at 541-523-4049. Once they have been approved for admittance, they will be given a day and time for arrival. Upon entrance, a UA will be collected and an ASAM will be completed to develop an appropriate treatment plan. Length of stay is typically 3 days, depending on symptoms management needs.

Residential Treatment is encouraged following detox and RVC will work with your home county for door to door admittance from detox to residential if possible. It is recommended that individuals come to Detox with an ASAM completed by a certified drug and alcohol provider within the last 14 days to support their desire and admittance into a residential treatment facility.
