What is a Peer Outreach Center?

A peer outreach center is a non -cl inical , com m unity -based space that offers peer support, socialization, and access to resources for ind ivid uals with substance use or mental health condit ions. These centers are designed to be a place of choice, where individuals can meet with a peer to help develop goals and skills for positive outcomes. The centers are staffed by peer support specialists who have lived experience.

Drop-In  Hours

  • Monday - Friday
  • 9am - noon
  • 1pm - 4pm
  • Closed on Holidays

 

Available Services

Health Screenings and Referrals

Identify individual needs for referrals incl ud ing: treatment for either substance use or mental health, housing assistance, crisis services, medical referrals and community supports

 

Supported Employment Services Assistance with obtaining documents for employment (ID, birth certificat es, social security cards}, resume building, online job searches, applying for jobs and meeting employers

Harm Reduction Education and Supplies

Overdose prevention kits, wound care kits, safe need le disposal, NARCAN education

 

Assistance with Hepc Testing & Medications

Onsite Support Groups and Skills Building Opportunities

Resources for those that are currently houseless

Emergency housing supports including food/bottled water, Home in a Bag, Hygiene Kits, access to show ers/ laund ry services
